Bruzgul & Associates is a boutique law firm handling primarily family law matters (divorce, paternity, custody/visitation, support, property division); probate and estate administration, estate planning, adult guardianships, and civil litigation (contract disputes, foreclosure defense, real property disputes).

Joanne earned her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law and served as judicial clerk to Hon. Judge William C. Lee of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. She is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the federal trial bar for the Northern District of Illinois. Joanne is an active member of both the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
In 2017, Chief Judge Ruben Castillo, of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois presented Joanne with the distinguished award of Excellence in Pro Bono Service recognizing her outstanding commitment to pro bono representation before this federal trial court.
